As a former architect, I continuously ask myself this question :
“How can I value my background in architecture in UX design ? What can I bring on the table ?”
And now, I ask myself more than ever.
After a bootcamp in UX/UI design, I’m now searching for new opportunities in design. But, the thing is we are A LOT of new UX/UI designers on the market.
“So, how can I stand out ?”
Of course, it’s your personality, the skills and related skills (T-shaped designer) that you developed that will make the difference !
But in this article…
This challenge is a fictive project and the goal was to design a microsite for a festival. A microsite is a website that has short life-cycle.
I chose the festival Sakifo to take up this challenge because I used to go there and I really like its unique atmosphere and their original line-up.
Sakifo was created in 2004 and takes place every year in the south of Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean. With 6 stages and music from everywhere and especially from the Indian ocean, SAKIFO hosts 40 000 spectators during 3 days.
As event editions are often very…

My next challenge is about the design opportunity in Wellness.
Wellness is an active process through which people try to improve or maintain their well-being.
My client is the Wellness Institute. The institute is very excited to explore how they can leverage technology to help people live a healthier life. They want to create their first digital tool. They found out that despite the vast availability of personal metrics and health apps, people continue to struggle to improve their health and wellness.
The goal of this challenge is to create a MVP around one aspect of Wellness that users consider…
As a UX/UI Designer, I chose to analyze an already existing and highly adopted app and incorporate a new feature into it. The new feature was given to me by two designers.
This challenge was a one week project. For that, I worked alone and remotely due to the Covid situation. The point here was really to focus on the new feature and how I would incorporate it into the existing app.
For this challenge, I chose the app Spotify !
Why Spotify ?
I love their visual, goal and spirit : to soundtrack user’s lives. Besides, it has a…
Over the last years, food e-commerce has exploded. Before Covid-19, 70% of the french population did online grocery shopping in the last quarter of 2019 (a 4.4% year-on-year increase). In 2020, many consumers changed their consumption habits due to the Covid-19 lockdown.
We got interested to redesign the experience of the Carrefour online grocery shopping.
In France, Carrefour is one of the leader of the retail market. Multi format and multi channel, with supermarkets and local stores, Carrefour plans to become the leader of the online grocery shopping with a grocery marketplace at the end of 2020.
We assessed the…
The third and last challenge for the Ironhack’s Prework is about Usability. The main goal is to understand how we could improve travel apps and help people travel the world, once the crisis passes.
For that, we have been asked to :
For this exercise, I had to choose one destination among the…
For my second challenge, the goal was to create our first wireframing and to focus on the interaction design and user flow.
Wireframing is an essential step in translating an idea into reality. The purpose is to create the basic skeleton for each screen of our design, before branding, images and colors get involved. Visual clarity is of the utmost importance! The wireframe should be monochrome (without shades of grey or color), so that we can concentrate on the structure and not how it looks.
For this challenge, I chose the app “Karma”, a Swedish food-waste startup that connects restaurants…
This is my first Medium article and I’m presenting my findings for the first Challenge of the Prework, applying Design Thinking process.
We were asking to propose a new feature for a transport app that solves the pain of having to purchase different public transport tickets by different channels.
The app is Citymapper.
Citymapper is a public transit app and mapping service. It integrates data for all urban modes of transport, from walking and cycling to driving, with an emphasis on public transport. Their goal is clear : to simplify the mobility experience by helping you find the best option…
